Riders Training Programs

NL Snowboard is excited to work with three major resorts across Newfoundland Labrador to offer snowboard Riders Training Programs at:

White Hills Resort in Eastern Newfoundland
Marble Mountain Resort in Western Newfoundland
Smokey Mountain Resort in Labrador

The Riders Training Program is a fun, skill development program for participants aged 7-14 with 2+ years of snowboarding experience. It is designed to facilitate the development of the ABC fundamental snowboard skills: Agility, Balance, and Coordination; and apply these principals to freeride, slopestyle and boardercross disciplines. Riders introduces participants to competitive snowboarding.

Coaches are Canada Snowboard trained and certified.

Participants must be experienced snowboarders, confident on most terrain. This is not a “learn to ride” program. All resorts also offers learn to ride programs for youth wanting to learn how to snowboard.
